Eradorn led her back to where he had stood, taking an easier path around the thickest part of the thistletrees.
"What is it?" she asked again as they made their way around the thicket.
"You'll see. Just, wait." Eradorn said.
They emerged from the brush and walked up to where Eradorn had followed the deer. Celina gasped. The two of them stood on the edge of a precipice, looking out across the Atharian plains. And below them, stretching out in all directions, was a vast field of flowers. Heartlillies. The sun was just climbing over the horizon, and it cast a golden hue to the sea of crimson below them.
"Oh E..." she said after long moment.
"I know." Eradorn said.
"She would have loved them."
